Beverly M. Baker Obituary

Springfield, Tennessee - Beverly M. Baker, lovingly known as "Granny", entered into eternal peace at the age of 85, at her home in Springfield, Tennessee on October 26, 2025. She was born to the late John Baker and Beulah Baker on August 2, 1940.

Beverly accepted Christ at an early age at St. James Missionary Baptist Church and later attended St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith remained an enduring part of her life.

She found her greatest joy in her family-especially in spoiling her grandchildren and watching her favorite shows. Beverly loved the simple pleasures of life: sitting outside to admire the birds, tending to her garden, and listening to the soothing sounds of her wind chimes. Known for her quiet strength and gentle wisdom, Beverly was a listening ear to anyone who came calling. Though she spoke few words, each one carried love and meaning.

On October 26, 2025, Beverly entered into eternal rest, leaving to cherish her memory: seven loving children, Jeffrey (Cindy) Baker, Janice Dickerson, Ronald Baker, Gary (Bobbi Jean) Baker, Timothy (Pam) Baker Sr., Bettye Jo (Carl) Williams, and Wendell (Carolyn) Baker; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grand-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
