White House, TN - Callie Josephine Holman, age 85 of White House, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was born January 17, 1940 in San Antonio, TX to John Roosevelt & Clara Margaret Tanner Davis. She worked as a registered nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner for the Robertson County Health Department before her retirement. She was a member of Hendersonville United Pentecostal Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher. She loved Jesus and her church and was ready to serve when needed. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains. She had a quick wit, a sense of humor and was an inspiration to many.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Holman, Sr.; stepson, Leonard Holman, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Bret Tomlinson and Kelsee Holman; sisters, Ava Thompson and Johnnie Gibson; sons-in-law, John James and Bobby Lee; daughter-in-law, Cindy Tomlinson.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Jennifer) Holman, White House, TN, Steve Tomlinson, Tomkinsville, KY and Jerry (Sherry) Holman, Hendersonville, TN; daughters, Terri (John) Graham, Cleveland, TN, Sharon James, Portland, TN, Janice Lee, Barren Plains, TN and Barbara Ann (Jerry) Worsham, Tuscon, AZ; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, October 6, 2025 at 12 Noon in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Kent Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in Halltown Cemetery with grandchildren and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Sunday, October 5, 2025 4-8pm and Monday, October 6, 2025 10am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
