White House, TN - Charles "Chuck" James Ashley, age 57 of White House, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 at Hendersonville Medical Center. He was born June 15, 1968 in Danville, VA to Charles & Livia Radford Ashley. He was the owner and operator of Ashwood Builders. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the beach. He loved helping people and was a big talker.


He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Teresa and Cathy Ashley. He is survived by his sons, Elijah Ashley and Jonah Ashley, daughter, Gracie Ashley, all of CA; sisters, Debbie Hunter, Goodlettsville, TN, Barbara Ashley, OH, Carolyn Smith, TX, Marilyn Jordan, AZ and Eunice Lewis, VA.


Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House, with Pastor Doug Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with friends serving as pallbearers and with Bill Glaeser serving as an honorary pallbearer. Visitation is planned for Thursday, April 16, 2026 4-8PM and Friday, April 17, 2026 11AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
