Springfield, TN - Christopher "Daniel" Thomas, age 62, left this life on September 7, 2025. Daniel was born in 1963 to Harrison and Frances Thomas of Springfield, Tennessee.

He was a pipeliner like his father, uncles, and brothers before him, and he worked alongside them for many years, traveling throughout the United States in the process. He loved fishing, yard sales, and tall tales. A lover of music, Daniel collected vinyl records and loved attending concerts in his younger years, preferring classic rock acts. He was an avid "horse trader" who made good use of his keen eye and bargaining skills.

He is survived by his brothers John (Lou) Thomas and David (Donna) Thomas; nephews Todd (Ashley) Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, and Kyle (Jennifer) Thomas; niece Rosemary Thomas (Jason) Sprague; and grand-niece and grand-nephew Lily and Jago Thomas.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Randy Thomas. His remains will be cremated, and a private service will be scheduled at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Robertson County Funeral Home
