Cottontown, TN - Gary Thomas Broadrick, age 76 of Cottontown, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at his home. He was born December 4, 1948 in Nashville, TN to Ralph Glenn & Milbrey Jane Covington Broadrick. He was retired from Yellow Freight with 30 years of loyal service.


Gary enjoyed mowing grass, playing basketball, traveling to FL and to the Smokies and was an avid UT Vols fan. He never met a stranger and was a #1 Papa to his grandchildren, He was of the Church of Christ faith. that he loved so dearly.


He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Glenna Hicks. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy Broadrick; son, Jason Broadrick; daughter, Kelli (Jamie) Nickens, all of Cottontown, TN; brother, Joe (Rhonda) Broadrick, Springfield, TN; 3 grandchildren, Preslee Nickens, Adam Nickens and Gracelyn Broadrick; several nieces and nephews.


A Celebration of Life memorial service is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Mike Brady officiating. Inurnment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation is planned for Friday, September 26, 2025 12pm-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
