James Ollie Cole Obituary

Springfield, Tennessee - James Ollie Cole was born June 21, 1937 to the late Gertrude Cole. He went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2025.


He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church and later united with Greater South Baptist Church where was a minister and member of the Senior Choir.


James graduated from Bransford High School with the Class of 1956. He also sang with the Bransford High School Alumni Choir.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, one sister was Lorenza Boyd; nephews, Leslie Earl Boyd and S.L. Boyd, Jr.; two nieces, Janice Marie and Rebecca Ann Boyd.


He leaves to cherish his memories: nephew, Glenn L. Boyd; nieces, Regina Dowlen, Cynthia Lewis and Stephanie Clark; and a host of other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; other family and friends.


Viewing, Visitation, and Funeral were Friday, August 1, 2025 at Greater South Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Stratton, Eulogy and Elder Jonathan white, Officiant; Interment was in Bell Memorial Cemetery.
