White House, TN - John William Kelley, 99, of White House, TN went to be with the Lord on August 23rd, 2025. He was born October 28, 1925 to the late Thomas Everette Kelley and Mary Caldonia Jones Kelley.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Viola Tate Kelley. They married on November 21, 1942 and she passed just shy of their 80th anniversary in 2022. He is also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rubye Kelley Vann; and daughter, Debbie K. Henderson and son-in-law Cary Henderson.

He was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and attended Walnut Grove United Methodist Church regularly until the last few years. He was proud to represent the Robertson County Eastern Dark Fired Tobacco Association as a director for many years. He also served as director on the Robertson County Farm Bureau board. One of his most proud accomplishments was being able to have his family's farm registered as a Tennessee Century Farm in Robertson County.

He is survived by his son, Phillip (Diane) Kelley of White House, TN; granddaughters, Stacey (Russell) Stoddard of Springfield, TN and Tracey (Brad) Bertram of Glasgow, KY; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, and Ethan Bertram. He is also survived by many very special nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service is scheduled for August 27, 2025 in the chapel of Austin and Bell Funeral Home in White House, TN, at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Russel Stoddard, Brad Bertram, Ethan Bertram, Wes Crain, Steve Armstrong and Johnny Barry serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Hester, Donnie Hester, Paul West, Buddy Bryant, Chuck Stout, Mark Lowe and Phillip Branch. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, August 26, 2025 2pm-8pm and Wednesday, August 27, 2025 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
