Ridgetop, TN - Laura Ann Dodd, age 91, formerly of Ridgetop, TN passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at the Maple Cottages in Portland, TN.

She was born December 9, 1933 in Stewart, TN to Calvin Nesbitt Whitt and Anne Lynch Phillips. She worked as a homemaker for most of her life, but had been employed in her younger years at Carrigan Iron Works. She enjoyed sewing and flower gardening. She was a member of Ridgetop Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and WMU Director. Laura also loved helping with the Open Door Crisis Pregnancy Center in Springfield.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Gene Dodd; daughter, Bridget Pack; son, Dorian Dodd; brothers, Calvin Phillips and Eugene Phillips. She is survived by her daughter, Valli (Randall Tucker) Hester, Bethpage, TN; sisters, Kay Piermico and Bonnie Endres, both of Erin, TN, Gaynell Hester, Mount Washington, KY and Nancy Goodman, Hendersonville, TN; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
