Springfield, Tennessee - Shirley Seidel, age 89, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
Shirley was born on January 2, 1936, in Dixon, Illinois, to the late Alphonce and Ida Messer Putman. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, raising her son and daughter. She enjoyed gardening and spending time creating arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Claude Robert Seidel; and her daughter, Sandra Mae Hallmark. She is survived by her son, Mike Seidel of Springfield, and her two granddaughters, Jennifer Hallmark of Springfield and Jessica Kennard of Gallatin.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
