Springfield, Tennessee - Takara Deanna Drake, born March 13, 1986, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 40. She was born to Tina Chatman and Charles Drake.
She professed a hope in Christ at a young age at Greater South Baptist Church where she was a member of the youth and mass choirs. She was a 2004 graduate of Springfield High School, Springfield, Tennessee.
Takara was a vibrant and loving woman who brought light and energy into every space she entered. She carried her passion for life into everything she did. She had a deep love for dancing, often expressing herself through movement and joy. Takara also enjoyed shopping, reading, and journaling simple pleasures that reflected her thoughtful and expressive spirit.
Viewing, Visitation and Funeral were held April 11, 2026 at Greater South Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Dowlen, Eulogy and Pastor Samuel Stratton, Officiant. Interment was in Restlawn Memorial Garden.
